Where it all began

Who are we?

Light Lives is a trust to support the needy in the areas of education, marriage, medical emergencies, and self-employment. It is founded in Oct 2016 and is based out of Bangalore.

Economic inequality prevails in India since long ago. The rich get richer and most of them find no time to help the needy. The poor get poorer and they do not know how to reach those helping hands. We bridge this gap and bring together the philanthropists and poverty-stricken.

Our Mission

is to “Fulfill the life’s crucial and life-or-death demands of needy”

Our objective

is to help people to “Fulfill some of the basic and crucial needs in the areas of Education, Medical emergencies, Marriage & Self-employment”

Our Causes

EDUCATION

We find a sponsor for the education of an underprivileged kid and provide them the details of the kid, family background, contacts, and school fees structure. Once the fees is paid, we provide the receipt from school and also annual report card of the student

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

Government hospitals provide free consultation, checkup, medicines and treatment for some diseases. However the destitute have to go to private hospitals certain times and due to the financial condition, they have no option and suffer. The sponsors will be provided with patient details, background, medical report, doctor’s prescription and other financial details

MARRIAGE SUPPORT

We help the needy for their marriage by providing them the basic wedding ornaments and clothes, setting up their new house with basic needs etc. The sponsor will be given contact details, background about the couple and will be provided with marriage photos

SELF-EMPLOYMENT

To improve their financial status, we help them to setup small business like providing tailoring machines, push carts and supplies, road side small shops etc..
